Group #01 Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God by Francis Chan Adult group that meets on Mondays from 7pm-8pm at Community Christian Church. Summary: Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Group #02 Out Live Your Life: You Were Made to Make a Difference by Max Lucado Adult group that meets on Thursdays from 7pm-8pm at Community Christian Church. Summary: This group is for those who realize they have been given the gift of life and they want theirs to matter. How do we live life in such a way that the world will be glad we did? Summary: What do you want out of your life, what do you believe about yourself? Who will you be? What matters most? It’s precisely these moments (designed often by God) that help us discover who we are inside. Renita Weems takes women on a riveting journey of self discovery and spiritual awakening in this group.
Group #04 Pigs in a Parlor: A Practical Guide to Deliverance by Frank Hammond Adult group that meets on Tuesdays from 7pm-8pm at Community Christian Church. Summary: This group will learn practical information about demons and deliverance. Frank Hammond leads us through how to obtain and retain deliverance for others and ourselves.
Group #05 Friends & Peer Pressure – by Kara Powell Youth group (grades 6-8) meets on Thursdays from 7pm-8pm at Community Christian Church. Summary: Becoming a stand-strong, clear-headed teen who is fearless of making healthy, positive choices – even if it means going against the flow – is a challenge … and that’s an understatement. Especially for young teens, swimming against the tide of peer pressure can be stressful and confusing. Come find out how to deal with the everyday pressures that come with growing up.
Group #06 Connecting With God – by Ron Luce Youth group (grades 9-12) meets on Thursdays from 7pm-8pm at Community Christian Church. Summary: When you meet a new friend at church or school, what do you do? You connect with text messages, MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. You send the latest news and follow each other’s every move. You are connected nonstop. What if you could add God as a friend too? What if you could have that same kind of 24/7 connection with Him? This book could be the vehicle that helps you get started. Join us in this teen mania devotional.
